TriPointe Baptist Church - Life At Its Best!

Junior Church
On Sundays at 11:00am, all ages sing and pray together and then the 4 year-olds through 6th graders are invited to break away at 11:30 for Junior Church.  There they will receive a special message designed just for them, taught by a caring teacher and occasional visiting puppets.

TEENS
Sundays at 10:00AM
Searching for something true in your life?  7th through 12th grades are invited to join us each Sunday at 10AM to have some donuts and get your life questions answered.   Bring a  friend!

Do you want to learn what Jesus meant when He spoke of being a disciple?  Are you looking for a deep look into what the Bible is all about and how to make it apply directly to your life?  Maybe you just want a stronger resolve against the enemy.  Or perhaps you feel you are ready to invest in another believer and just want a little extra training and mentoring to help guide your mentorship.  If so, plan to join us Sundays at 2:00pm to be equipped for life!  Or you might just call pastor Chris at 515-0448.

When?  It could be today...it could be in thousands of years...
What if it He's coming 2 minutes from now?  What if today is your last?

God wants you to know that He doesn't want to lose you but wants to be with you forever! Check out what He wrote to you: "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)

God also wants you to know that you are not alone. We are all the same! "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
God being a just and righteous God must give us what is fair. In other words, God being perfect and unable to sin or do wrong, has to carry out His law just like a perfect judge. And according to that law, if we break that law, this is what we deserve (but keep reading...it gets much better!!!) "For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23a). This means that when you or I tell one little lie, or steal one little thing, or say one bad thing about another person to someone else, or do anything that we know is wrong...we deserve death! That means being forever separated from God and anything good.

God also being merciful and loving made a WAY OUT of this terrible future. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST [Jesus] DIED FOR US." (Romans 5:8) The rest of Romans 6:23 says, "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus really did come to the earth about 2,000 years ago to "seek and to save the lost" like you and me. And the only way our sentence could be lifted off our shoulders was that someone that was completely perfect
would have to die and shed their blood in our place. On that cross, Jesus did that very thing.  He died for you, He was buried in a tomb, and three days later, just like He said, He came back to life!!! In order for us to share in His power of resurrection, that is, coming back to life and living forever with Him, we must follow what God says here: "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9,13) Jesus said, "I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) And IF THERE IS ANY OTHER WAY, WHY WOULD JESUS HAVE TO DIE? (Galatians 2:21)

Believing means more that believing something is true. Believing is "trusting on" something or someone. So, in order to be saved from what we deserve (eternal death and destruction), because of our sin, and in order to be saved to what we don't deserve (eternal life with God), we must put ALL of our trust on the blood that Jesus shed for us. We must say and mean something like, "God, I know that I am a sinner and nothing I can do can save me. I trust that when Jesus died and shed His blood for me on that cross, His blood is enough to wash my sin away. Save me now, please! I accept your gift. Thank you so much!!!! In Jesus' name, Amen"
